it has ended...we had the final show in "hemmi og valdi. we were supported by myrra rós and jón. when marta and me did our “hit song” people were stamping to the beat which was fun! now i am waiting for the “post-tour-depression”

slowly it’s coming to an end. after 11 concerts we reached reykjavík again. the last three shows are in and around reykjavík. it seems that it really pays off. we financed all our gasoline with the cd’s!

a cancelled show in egilsstaðir (no one came though it was the nicest venue). but the pain was eased by the amazing summerhouse where we spent the night. and yes–it was in a little forest! with small but real trees. on our way to akureyri we passed one of the million waterfalls here. unfortunately i have no picures of akureyri but it was our best show. it really payed off.

as everyone knows: the average iclandic person lives in a snow house, wears winterjackets behind the bar and usually carries a fishing route.

we hit the road and heading east. we have seen a so many unbelievable beautiful places and sites. here for instance we can see martas nose, a part of the car and in the back: vatnajökull the biggest glacier in europe.

the last picture of my camera. of course - like my bank card- it left me (like this birds) during my holiday. fortunately we found a camera the other day so there will be more pictures although the quality might decrease.

as i was so close to the geysir place i could not avoid to go there, take out my camera and wait for the eruption. even those many people there cannot destroy the beauty.

snow in july is even in for iceland not that common.

the temperature fell down to 7-9° but we walked to the troll-seat anyway. from there you have a nice view over ísafjörđur. iceland is by the way the only european country where the birthrate is increasing (if you wonder about the many children).

after a very nice dinner at sunnas. strengthened by this we played at kaffi edinborg. it was nice but kind of a good bye show because our time here in the beautiful westfjords is coming to an end. on friday we will fly back to reykjavík because the next show is there. we are actually running out of cds because we are selling so many! we are very glad about this cause our gasoline is almost payed.

today we were trying to find the lost horses of anna sigga. unfortunately we did not but at least we enjoyed the mountains.

we were playing at Þingeyri today in a café called simbahöllin. and it was awesome!! this beautiful café also appears in nói albínói, a nice iclandic movie.

We are living in this beautiful house of Elfar Logi and Marsibil. They were so kind to let us live there while they are at their summer cottage. AMAZING.
